So.
Normally I'm not one for presumption, but I realized that that unless Hogwarts manages to score more than 450 points and Salem can knock in 830 points in the next game, it looks like we'll be playing in the finals.
Can you believe it?
I am unbelievably proud of you all and
I can't believe we managed a lock game. That hardly ever happens, and that could never have happened if Anya and Caer hadn't stepped it up or if Roald hadn't knocked out both the Keeper and the Beater or if -- well.
All I can say is that we better be celebrating this before we start practicing for the final.

And I think I might sign with the Magpies. It will be strange to not go back to Germany or Poland or even Ukraine, but I figure that if I can handle a year at this crazy school, then surely I can manage professional Quidditch in Scotland.
Also, how absurd is it that I will actually miss this year at Hogwarts?

APPLEBY ARROWS: less prestige than the other two but more opportunity for playing time
FALMOUTH FALCONS: questionable integrity; more notorious for their fouling, but it still translates to victories.
MONTROSE MAGPIES: coached by Oliver Wood, though I doubt I'd get much opportunity to play, given the quality of the team.
I would have considered a German or Polish team, but the British & Irish League is more renowned on an international level. Thoughts?

A very interesting weekend capped off by an even more interesting performance, courtesy of my teammates.
Nevertheless, it was nice to see my parents and grandfather, especially before exams start tomorrow. I must say, I am rather looking forward to going to Germany for the Christmas festivities.
